Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance. A booking is confirmed once details and payment terms have been agreed. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings where incorrect information is provided or where these terms are not met.
Pricing and payment
Prices are based on the information you provide, including skip size, location, waste type, and hire period. All pricing will be explained at the time of booking.
Additional charges may apply if:
The skip is overfilled
Restricted or prohibited waste is found
The hire period is exceeded
Delivery or collection is prevented due to access issues
Payment terms will be confirmed when booking and payment may be required before delivery unless agreed otherwise.
Delivery and access
You must provide clear and safe access for delivery and collection. If access is restricted or unsafe, additional charges may apply.
You are responsible for ensuring the ground is suitable and can support the skip and its contents.
Hire period
The hire period will be agreed at the time of booking. If you need the skip for longer, you must contact us before the end of the agreed period. Extensions are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.
Permits and placement
A permit is required if the skip is placed on a road, pavement, or public land. We can arrange permits on your behalf if requested. Permit costs are the responsibility of the customer unless agreed otherwise.
The skip must be placed in the agreed location and must not be moved once delivered.
Use of the skip
Skips must be filled safely and not above the top edge. Overfilled skips cannot be collected.
Fires must not be lit in or near the skip and hot materials must not be placed inside.
Prohibited waste
Hazardous and restricted waste must not be placed in the skip. This includes asbestos, liquids, paint, batteries, gas bottles, tyres, electrical items, and chemical waste.
If prohibited waste is found, additional charges may apply and collection may be delayed.
Damage and responsibility
You are responsible for any damage caused to property or surfaces as a result of skip placement at your request. We are not responsible for damage caused by unsuitable ground conditions unless due to our negligence.
Loss or theft
You are responsible for the skip and its contents while it is on hire. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to items placed in the skip
Cancellations
Cancellations or changes should be made as soon as possible. Late cancellations may incur a charge, particularly if delivery has already been arranged.
Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of business or profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
